One of Duke’s most impressive and enduring accolades is his uninterrupted membership in the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) since 1969. This prestigious recognition reflects Duke’s unwavering commitment to providing exceptional financial solutions to his clients. His continued presence in the MDRT showcases his dedication to excellence and his clients’ financial well-being.
In 1970, Duke emerged as a leading producer with Cotton States Life, demonstrating his talent for crafting innovative insurance solutions tailored to the unique needs of his clients. This achievement highlights Duke’s mastery of the insurance industry and his ability to excel in a competitive market.
In 1984, Duke continued his impressive career journey by becoming the leading producer with Shenandoah Life Insurance Company, reinforcing his reputation as an industry leader.
Duke’s dedication to his clients’ financial success is further exemplified by his remarkable feat of receiving Ohio National Life’s President Inner Circle Sales Achievement Award for 20 consecutive years. This award underscores his exceptional performance and unwavering commitment to excellence.
In 2020, Ohio National Financial Services presented Duke with the Tschantz Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of his many achievements with the company.
His leadership qualities are also evident in his roles as the Chair of the Field Advisory Board for Shenandoah Life and Ohio National Life, where he provided valuable insights and guidance to these esteemed institutions.
From 1994 to 2021, Duke consistently qualified as a Top Producer for The ON Equity Sales Company, a testament to his ongoing commitment to delivering outstanding results.

Duke is not only a leader in the insurance industry but also a co-founder and co-owner of The Blackthorn Club at The Ridges. This premier, family-focused, private country club in Northeast Tennessee reflects his commitment to creating exceptional experiences for his community.
Duke’s contributions extend to his involvement as a board member of Citizens Bank for an impressive 35 years. His dedication to the community is further reflected in his role as a member and past Deacon at Trinity Baptist Church.
In his personal life, Duke finds joy in raising Tennessee Walking Horses, achieving multiple World Championships. He also enjoys spending time golfing, traveling to Hilton Head, and, most importantly, cherishing moments with his family.
